He graduated from Brandeis University, earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and completed dermatology training at Harvard Medical School–affiliated programs. He also completed a surgical program at Tel HaShomer Hospital in Tel Aviv and pursued additional study at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology in London.
